PHG acquires Fairfield Inn and Sleep Inn – Fayetteville, AR

LITTLE ROCK, AR – DEC 29, 2014 – Little Rock-based hotel management company Pinnacle Hotel Group’s portfolio grows by two more properties.  PHG is pleased to announce the acquisition and management contract for two new properties in Northwest Arkansas.

On 12/29/14, PHG thru its own subsidiary, Northwest Arkansas Hospitality & Lodging acquired the Fairfield Inn – Fayetteville. The Fairfield is a 61 unit limited service hotel near Fayetteville’s Medical Park. The hotel will undergo an extensive renovation and scheduled to reopen as the new LaQuinta Inn & Suites by May 1st, 2015.

“This is Pinnacle’s first property with the LaQuinta brand and we are excited about this new relationship with the Dallas, Texas based franchisor.” says Shawn Govind, Director of Development.

In addition, Pinnacle Hotel Group earned its first 3rd party management contract with HSB Shiv, LLC, owner of the Sleep Inn Fayetteville, AR. PHG will be managing the 61-unit property also based in the medical park corridor of Fayetteville. The Sleep Inn will receive some minor lobby and public area upgrades to keep the hotel consistent with the Brand’s new vision “Design to Dream” and will continue to operate as the Sleep Inn brand under a license agreement with Rockville, MD based franchisor, Choice Hotels International.
